reality is sinking in,argh! school is going to start in a week.
after last semester's disappointing yet very much expected results,i really have to pull my socks up to my neck to bring the CAP up.it will be a tremendous task,involving diligence,motivation and confidence but i will persevere for the sake of all those around me and that promise made.am having trouble deciding the last module to take.as it stands,i will be taking 3 major modules and level 2 chinese(please let me have it CORS bitch) leaving one more slot.still undecided to try complete the IS minor requirements or to forgo it.
on a lighter note,caught up with a pair of really old friends after sending baby off on Saturday.i was impressed how mature and driven my 2 bola,bridge and delinquent kakis have turned out discussing about their work(surprisingly they have ended up in the same field),future plans and their different views on work life.i dare say it all came about from the harsh reality of surviving in competitive little Singapore.ended up being the person sitting on the fence,offering a neutral analysis of what was being discussed.
we talked about our past escapades,regrets(about not studying harder) and sharing the info we had about the people from the past each of us had happened to run into after secondary school.from that meeting i take heart at what was said by Kenneth,"the past is a relic,the present is a gift,the future is a mystery." maybe i shall write my thoughts about that qoute another time.
quite tired after cleaning the house,and got to go get ready to fetch baby back from the airport soon.i hope she had an enjoyable trip at work.i missed her so much! and so did she,i'm glad.
